Just rode in the cold for the first time with these over pants, worked great, warmer than chaps and as easy to put on. Quality is very good, as always, I think I'll use a pair of suspenders with them, like I do with chaps. Not made as heavy as a heavy pair of chaps, but they could not be and still sit in them comfortably. I wear a 38 jeans and 40 in these was a good choice.
