These are very heavy, sturdy boots. I normally wear a 6.5-7 wide, I ordered these in 6.5, and they fit fine in the toe, but are a bit loose in the heel. Without thick socks, the heavy sole and loose heel make them slip a little as I walk. I'd suggest ordering a half size down. Other than that, they are as nice as they look in the picture.
